The newspaper "Le Monde" talks about San Pedro and the stakes emphasized by the workshop
In a cycle of article "African cities facing their future", Le Monde talks about the challenge of growth of african megapolis, and the current plans of building new towns at a human scale, taking into account tradition, economic growth and sustainability.
San Pedro used to be a "fisherman village, and is nowadays inhabited by 400 000 people. The cacao harbour is the archetype of cities where urban planning is being taken over by the municipality..."
